How do I convert a PDF to Word?
Choose your PDF and press Convert to Word. You download a .docx file with the text, tables and pictures, one PDF page after another.
Will it look exactly like the PDF?
Close, but not identical. Text, headings, bold, colours and alignment are kept, tables become real Word tables with merged cells, borders and shading, and pictures, logos and charts are included. Text flows as normal Word text, so line breaks and page lengths can differ slightly.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Not directly. A scanned page is a picture with no text inside it. Run it through our OCR PDF tool first to add the text, then convert.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device. Your files are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.
