Questions

Is the DWG to DXF converter free?

Yes — one drawing at a time, as many times as you like, with no sign-up. Converting several drawings at once and downloading them as one ZIP is part of NEMO Pro Tools.

Which DWG versions can it convert?

AutoCAD 2000 and later DWG files, including 2018 and newer. The DXF keeps the drawing's own AutoCAD version.

Do layers, blocks and beam labels come across?

Yes. Layers, blocks, hatches, dimensions, layouts and multileader labels (beam and column marks) are kept. Annotative blocks and labels saved at several scales come out once, as AutoCAD shows them.

Will the DXF open in AutoCAD?

Yes, with its layouts. A few interior-design drawings packed with special (proxy) objects may not open in DWG TrueView; NEMO Takeoff still reads them.

How big a drawing can it handle?

Up to 25 MB. Most drawings take a few seconds; a 3 MB drawing takes about half a minute. Very large drawings (over 10 MB) need a lot of memory and may not finish on a phone or an older laptop.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device. Your files are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.
