Compare CAD Drawings — DWG / DXF Rev A vs Rev B

Drop the old and the new revision of a drawing as DWG or DXF. NEMO lines them up, overlays them and clouds every change — removed in red, added in blue — with a list of what changed in words and line lengths by layer. Download the merged DXF to open in AutoCAD, a PDF change report and an Excel workbook. No AutoCAD needed, and nothing is uploaded.

Questions

How do I compare two DWG drawings?

Drop the old revision as Rev A and the new one as Rev B — DWG or DXF, in any mix. They are lined up by themselves, even if Rev B was drawn somewhere else on the sheet. Switch between Overlay (Rev B in colour over Rev A) and Changes (every change clouded and numbered), and open the list to read what changed.

What is in the merged DXF?

It is your Rev A file itself — texts, blocks, hatches and layouts kept — with its layers turned grey. The whole of Rev B is added on the layer NEMO-OVERLAY in red, and a revision cloud with its number round each change on NEMO-CLOUDS. Each NEMO layer can be switched off in AutoCAD.

What does the change report show?

A PDF (A3): the drawing with every change clouded and numbered, then what changed in words — text, dimensions, bar call-outs, blocks added, removed or moved — and the line length of each layer in Rev A and Rev B. The Excel workbook has the same, plus block counts.

Is it free?

You can compare 10 pairs of drawings a day free, with every download, and no sign-up. NEMO Pro Tools remove the daily limit: ₹199 for 30 days or ₹1,499 for a year in India; $4.99 or $29 everywhere else, paid once with no auto-renewal.

Does it compare Layouts or only Model space?

Model space by default. When both drawings have a Layout you can compare the Layout too — section by section, so a viewport moved on the sheet is not taken for a change. The merged DXF is always made from the drawing itself (Model), so it opens like your own file.

How big a drawing can it handle?

A DWG up to 25 MB or a DXF up to 80 MB. A big DWG needs a lot of memory to open — use a laptop or desktop rather than a phone.

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device. Your files are never uploaded, stored or seen by anyone.
